Projects & Programs
These are just some of the projects and programs that demonstrate our commitment to operating an equitable, innovative, financially sustainable agency:
Prosper Portland will offer the Affordable Commercial Tenanting Program at Ten Y, a full block of commercial space in the prime West End area of downtown Portland at SW 10th Avenue and SW Yamhill Street. The revitalized building will offer a variety of spaces to create a cohesive and complementary mix of tenants.
Prosper Portland offers the Affordable Commercial Tenanting Program at Alberta Commons, a unique opportunity for small minority-owned businesses to gain a foothold in the retail mix of the area, provide needed goods and services to the neighborhood and create lasting, beneficial relationships with the Northeast Portland community.
Prosper Portland has created the Affordable Commercial Tenanting Program to reduce barriers to entry for underrepresented businesses, preserve small business vitality, and advance our goal to build an equitable economy.
Our goal is to ensure that Prosper Portland projects offer equal opportunity in employment and that those who have been historically underused in the construction trades have access to jobs through training programs.
Prosper Portland is expanding our work with startups and minority-owned businesses to leverage the power of a partnership network committed to increasing the success of 1000 underrepresented entrepreneurs.
Alberta Commons, anchored by Natural Grocers, is at a high-traffic corner and will bring new excitement to the neighborhood, offering small, minority-owned businesses the opportunity to participate in the retail mix.
