Prosper Portland is partnering with Business Oregon to lead a delegation of Oregon sustainable businesses to the June 4-9 ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Sustainable Energy Week (ASE) trade show and exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand. After the show, companies have an option to travel on to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for two additional days of business meetings.

Companies attending last year’s event – including Energy Storage Systems, EV4, Powin Energy, Met One Instruments, Stevens Water Monitoring Systems, SSI Shredding Systems, Bulk Handling Systems, West Salem Machinery, Mobility Cubed and Hallco Industries – reported an estimated $1 million in sales, and several of them will participate again this year.

ASE is ASEAN’s largest and most comprehensive international exhibition and conference on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and environmental and mobility technology. Last year, the show hosted 12 large international pavilions and attracted more than 27,000 visitors from 45 countries. ASE is an excellent venue for Oregon companies to showcase their technology and equipment to buyers from a wide variety of industries.

Financial assistance is available through a Business Oregon Export Promotion Grant, which may be used to reimburse up to 50% of a company’s eligible expenses. Apply today!
