On Thursday, October 12, Prosper Portland board chair Tavo Cruz represented the agency at the topping-out ceremony for Oliver Station in the Lents Town Center. The celebration is a builders’ rite to mark the placement of the last beam atop a structure during its construction.
Combined, the two buildings at Oliver Station will add approximately 126 affordable apartment units and 19 market rate apartment units to Lents Town Center; Prosper Portland is funding nearly 30,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. Oliver Station joins Lents Commons, the Asian Health & Service Center, and the Woody Guthrie as key projects delivering on the community’s goal to create a safe, active, accessible town center.
