A collaboration between Prosper Portland and the Portland Housing Bureau, Lents Commons is a mixed-use, mixed-income project with 54 units of housing and approximately 7,500 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.
Sixteen of the 54 apartments are reserved as affordable; the project includes a ground floor public courtyard and on-site parking. Lents Commons broke ground in October 2016 with a “We Dig Lents” celebration and was completed in February 2018. It is one of two sites in the Lents Town Center offering Prosper Portland’s Affordable Commercial Tenanting Program. This project and the others going up around it – a collective mix of market rate and affordable housing, retail, office, and community space – will transform 92nd Avenue as a main street in the Town Center, a change that has been a longtime goal for Lents stakeholders, Prosper Portland, and the City of Portland.
