The long-awaited opening of Natural Grocers at Alberta Commons recognized the extensive community involvement that went into the project and offered neighbors multiple opportunities to check out the new arrival at NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and NE Alberta Street.
A “soft” opening on Tuesday, April 17 and the official ribbon-cutting on Wednesday, April 18, brought together community members, the development and construction teams, city staff, and the volunteer members of the project’s Implementation, Monitoring and Accountability Committee to celebrate the neighborhood milestone.
