Prosper Portland Executive Director Kimberly Branam kicked off the opening session of the 10th annual Go Green Conference on Tuesday, October 17, Driving Forward: A 10-Year Retrospective with Portland’s Sustainable Business Leaders. Branam was a member of Mayor Sam Adams’ staff 10 years ago at the first Go Green conference, and moderated a panel that included several individuals who shared similar history with the event.
Topics ranged from the biggest success in sustainability practices over the past 10 years to ways in which the current federal climate affects the city’s approaches to innovation and sustainability outcomes across industries, as well as best practices in consistently applying an equity lens to sustainability work.
