Tech sector workers, students and those interested in the tech industry brought their collaborative ideas to the Tech + Inclusion event held Tuesday, February 21 at Instrument on N. Williams Avenue. Presented by PDC with assistance from Design+Culture Lab, the event was designed to create partnerships that ultimately lead to hiring and career advancement of women and people of color in Portland’s tech industry. Scale Up Partners, Code Fellows, the Emerging Leaders Internship Program and Worksystems Inc. were additional partners in the conversation about what diversity and inclusion could mean for the Portland tech community.
