This is a monthly East 205 CLC meeting. The public is welcome to attend and provide public comment in person, or virtually on Zoom.
Agenda:
- Welcome & Roll Call
- Meeting Objectives & Agreements: Overview of the meeting objectives and the meeting agreements that guide our interaction during the meeting
- Public Comment: Provide an opportunity for community members to share their views to the governing body.
- CLC Roadmap & Work Plan: Staff will provide an updated Roadmap showing where we are in the Action Plan development process and the steps ahead toward approval.
- Approve May Meeting Minutes and Revised April Meeting Minutes: The April meeting minutes included follow-up information and email correspondence that occurred outside of the CLC meeting. To improve clarity, the content has bee separated into three documents, each requiring CLC approval.
- TIF 101 & How TIF has been used: Staff will provide an overview of Tax Increment Financing (TIF), including how funds are generated and how they can be used.
- Bylaws Update & Vote: Bylaws Subcommittee will provide an update of the bylaws and, if ready present them for a vote.
- Who’s in the District – District Context: Staff will share housing and economic development data for the East 205 district.
- SOAR Exercise: Staff will introduce the SOAR Framework (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations and Results) and facilitate an interactive exercise to help identify priorities for TIF investments.
- Community Updates & Next Steps: Meeting participants will share community updates of interest and conclude with next steps in planning for the July meeting.
