This is a monthly East 205 CLC meeting. The public is welcome to attend and provide public comment in person, or virtually on Zoom.
Agenda:
- Welcome & Roll Call
- Meeting Objectives & Agreements: Overview of the meeting objectives and the meeting agreements that guide our interaction during the meeting
- Public Comment: Provide an opportunity for community members to share their views to the Community Leadership Committee
- CLC Roadmap & Work Plan: Staff will provide an updated Roadmap showing where we are in the Action Plan development process and the steps ahead toward approval
- Approve July Meeting Minutes*
- CLC Vacancies & Meeting Recording*:
- CLC Vacancies: Staff will go over the process for nominating CLC members to Portland City Council and options for engaging community members in the selection process, the CLC will make a decision on how to fill current vacancies and establish a process for future vacancies.
- Meeting Recording: The CLC will clarify what they meant when they decided on Meeting Minutes and meeting recordings, whether recordings are video or just audio
- Bylaws Update: Co-chairs will provide an update regarding bylaws*
- Housing Investment Priorities & SOAR Review
- SOAR Review: Staff will go over a summary of the SOAR analysis that CLC members contributed to in the last couple of CLC meetings, they will go over the process from SOAR Analysis to setting Action Plan priorities and will provide a few examples of how to set priorities based on the SOAR Analysis
- Housing Investment Priorities: Portland Housing Bureau staff will provide an overview of the areas of investments PHB focuses on, what priorities were identified during Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Exploration that helps inform Action Plan priorities, how to connect what we heard from the CLC during SOAR Analysis to PHB programs, and receive guidance from the CLC for PHB to draft budget scenarios
- Community Updates & Next Steps: Meeting participants will share community updates of interest and conclude with next steps in planning for the September CLC meeting
