On Monday, March 30, Mayor Ted Wheeler announced an increase of nearly $400,000 to the Small Business Relief Fund grant program, contributed by local banks for small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A coalition of businesses representing the Oregon Bankers Association and the Portland Business Alliance pledged an additional $385,000 in grant funding and $675,000 in loan funding to be invested into the Small Business Stabilization Fund at Oregon Community Foundation (OCF). In collaboration with Prosper Portland, OCF will provide these funds to community development financial institutions in the region that will disburse the money to small businesses during this challenging time.
