The power of storytelling was in full force on Tuesday, March 20 at Project Object, where Mercatus NTXN drew a compelling lineup of women entrepreneurs of color to share their experiences and explore the intersections of race and gender in Portland’s business community.
T Ngu, owner of Project Object; Anna Hutson of Avenue Agency; Camila Araya and Daniela del Mar of Letra Cheuca; and Kayin Talton Davis of Soapbox Theory were among the inspirational speakers at the event, joined by Jordan Hayles from Radical Brand Lab and Period Petty as MC. The NXTN event is an outgrowth of the Mercatus Collective, which will present the second My Peoples Market this June. Vendor applications for the Market are due May 4.
