Portland’s International Women’s Day will feature a number of events that celebrate women’s voices, achievements and courage. Among the events are an evening of networking and talks for software engineers, co-sponsored by Nike and Women Who Code at the Nike Campus; Our Bold Voices Presents: Nevertheless She Persisted, a fundraiser for the Family Preservation Project at the Mission Theater; and a collaborative event presented by WIS-PDX and co-hosted by Oregon BEST, OBI, and OCTRI to build a supportive network and provide resources for women entrepreneurs in the community.
Prosper Portland supports many of these organizations and the mission of empowering women in our collective effort to build a more equitable economy
