On Wednesday, Sept. 5, the Hill Block Project Working Group and the project’s institutional partners signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) outlining the respective commitments and responsibilities related to the potential development of the Hill Block, a 1.7-acre block bordered by Vancouver Avenue, Williams Avenue, Knott Street and Russell Street.

Bryson Davis and LaKeitha Elliott, co-chairs of the Hill Block Project Working Group, signed the MOU on behalf of the PWG, along with Mayor Ted Wheeler, Kimberly Branam of Prosper Portland, Kathryn Correia of Legacy Health, Shannon Callahan of the Portland Housing Bureau and Dr. Steven Holt, the working group facilitator. The Project Working Group also adopted its charter at the same time.

Prosper Portland is proud of its work supporting the Project Working Group and partners in the process to create a framework that shapes the work ahead. Agency staff modeled what it means to learn and grow and deliver with and for our community partners.
