My People’s Market: Elevate and Connect Entrepreneurs of Color will take place on Thursday, November 9, at The Redd at Ecotrust, 831 SE Salmon Street.
The event, designed and supported by Travel Portland, Prosper Portland and Partners in Diversity, will showcase Portland’s entrepreneurial community, communities of color, and our citywide commitment to equity and inclusion.
My People’s Market is one in a series of connection opportunities for the Mercatus platform and Inclusive Business Resource Network, two of Prosper Portland’s small business initiatives. The organizers hope to draw as many as 1,000 attendees to the public marketplace which will feature more than 100 multicultural vendors along with live music, artwork, and food.
