We joined Business Oregon and a delegation of Oregon companies to attend ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week June 7-10 in Bangkok, an international exhibition and conference on renewable energy, energy efficiency and environmental technology. Nearly all of the 10 ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) member states have committed to creating green communities, offering opportunities for Oregon companies to provide their innovative technologies and expertise to new international markets.
“This conference provided an invaluable opportunity to learn more about the needs of the ASEAN member states and then leverage our role as a convener to connect Portland companies with potential international business opportunities that these local firms may not otherwise be able to access,” said Prosper Portland Director of Economic Development Bobby Lee.
