Tom Kelly grew up in the family remodeling business founded by his father, Neil Kelly, who served as a Prosper Portland Commissioner from 1985-1990. Starting in high school as a laborer and truck driver, Mr. Kelly took on increasing responsibility after attending the University of Oregon and working for Oregon congressman Les AuCoin in Washington, D.C. In the years since, Tom has built the business into the region’s largest residential remodeling firm, named one ofOregon Business Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For.”
Mr. Kelly has a long history of leadership in both his industry and in the community. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Homebuilders Association of Metropolitan Portland in 2008 and was honored with the Volunteers of America DePreist Award for community service in 2010.
He is past president/chairman of the Oregon Remodelers Association, Oregon Construction Contractors Board, Portland Downtown Rotary, Home Builders Association of Metro Portland, and Volunteers of America, as well as a past board member of the Oregon Natural Step Network and Columbia Riverkeeper, and founding board chairman of the Oregon Business Association.
