PDC’s April 8 board meeting produced action on multiple fronts with a flurry of approvals for a broad range of initiatives. Centennial Mills, a long-delayed signature project, now moves forward with an alternative bid process for design/build work. The board established a path forward for addressing the long term financial sustainability of the agency. Staff provided a briefing on the next fiscal year budget and on PDC’s 2015-2020 strategic plan. Staff also received authorization to work with the U.S. Post Office on the design of a potential replacement for their NW Broadway facility. In a related item, the PDC Board was briefed on the RFP for the Broadway Corridor Framework Plan.
