Portland Streetcar Loop
Completed in 2012, the Portland Streetcar Central Loop is a 3.3-mile extension of the Portland Streetcar Project from the Pearl District in NW Portland across the Broadway Bridge, to the Tilikum Bridge, serving the eastern half of the Portland Central City with 28 additional streetcar stops, and allowing continuous connections around the entire Loop.
Prosper Portland contributed more than $27 million to the project, which attracted new development and achieved regional and local transit, environmental, and economic development goals.
