Cascade Station

Prosper Portland owns development rights to 20 acres at Cascade Station, a 120-acre parcel of property located at the gateway to Portland International Airport, at the southwest corner of the intersection of I-205 and Airport Way. Cascade Station is a mixed-use project that features major retailers, office space, hotels and other services development.

In 1998, a public/private partnership was formed between Tri-Met, the Port of Portland, Prosper Portland representing the City of Portland and Bechtel Corp. to extend the region’s award winning MAX light rail line to Portland International Airport, which opened September 10, 2001.

The development of Cascade Station brought the $125 million Airport MAX light rail to the area along with $25 million in infrastructure improvements. The 120-acre site offers 800,000 square feet of retail space, 1.2 million square feet of office space and 250 hotel rooms. It is home to more than 7,000 jobs and generates $2.4 million in property taxes.
