This downtown hotel at SW 3rd and Taylor delivered on both minority contracting and green building goals. As a partner on the project, Prosper Portland sold the property to the development team of McWhinney, Mortenson Development and Sage Hospitality, and our DMWESB, apprenticeship and green building policies applied throughout.
The 204-room hotel provides much-needed downtown inventory and increased employment in the central city and is projected to generate more than $600,000 in property tax revenues and $1,000,000 in transient lodging tax revenues annually. The contracting experience gained on this project will serve Mortenson well in its construction of the Convention Center Hotel and Garage, which broke ground in August 2017.

Prosper Portland will offer the Affordable Commercial Tenanting Program at 10Y, a full block of commercial space in the prime West End area of downtown Portland at SW 10th Avenue and SW Yamhill Street. The revitalized building will offer a variety of spaces to create a cohesive and complementary mix of tenants.
