The effort to transform 24 acres in Northwest Portland reached another milestone in October when the PDC Board adopted the Broadway Corridor Framework Plan (PDF), a strategic vision for development and redevelopment of an area that includes the 14-acre US Postal Service site.

A multi-disciplinary team offering an important combination of local knowledge and global perspective and expertise has guided the creation of the Plan. Led by ZGF Architects, with strong partnership from Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the team included HR&A Advisors and ECONorthwest to offer real estate strategy and market analysis expertise; Nelson/Nygaard Consulting Associates to provide multimodal transportation planning and evaluation services; and Cogan Owens Greene to facilitate public involvement. City Council will vote on adoption of the plan in early November.
