Nominations for leaders in international trade due February 28

The Oregon Consular Corps and the City of Portland will present CELEBRATE TRADE, the Oregon International Business Awards and Consular Corps Scholarship Gala, on Monday, May 19, 2014.

The event recognizes private sector companies that have made a significant contribution to Oregon’s standing as a leader in international trade and investment and their ability to create family wage jobs. You are invited to nominate a company or submit an application for your own company for these awards. The awards will be presented to companies in seven categories. A designated steering committee will choose the winner for each category and the winners will be announced at a special semi-formal dinner program.

In addition, eight students will be recognized at the event as recipients of Oregon Consular Corps scholarships which support international degree candidates from four of Oregon’s leading academic institutions.
