On August 19, the PDC Board gave the go-ahead for the long-awaited Natural Grocers/commercial center project in NE Portland, at the corner of NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and NE Alberta. Construction on the two-building, 25,000-square-foot project should begin this fall; Portland-based Colas Construction is the builder for the site developer, Majestic Realty Company. The site will include space for up to 10 local and minority-owned businesses.
