After nearly three years of planning and preparation, construction work for the Portland Mercado has begun. The Latin-themed market, an initiative of Hacienda Community Development Corporation (CDC) celebrated its groundbreaking at 7238 SE Foster Road on Thursday, May 15, followed by an open house discussion of design details at Mt. Scott Community Center.
PDC has been an instrumental partner for the market.
