Stumptown will celebrate the opening of its new headquarters with words from Congressman Blumenauer, Governor Kitzhaber’s office, Mayor Adams and the Energy Trust of Oregon. Guided tours of the space will follow, including a look at the newly installed, energy-saving Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) and a newly refurbished, vintage Probat 90 Kilo roaster. Stumptown will share the story behind this highly integrated roasting system, its increased energy efficiency and corresponding reduction in the company’s carbon footprint.
