The holiday pop-up shops have returned to downtown Portland, turning Portland’s vacant retail space into temporary destinations for local designers and artists to set up shop for the season. This year the space features a collective of 10-plus artisans, including small businesses working with Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon and a space devoted to custom wood products crafted by men in recovery at Blanchet House. The shops are open now through December 24 at 606 SW 9th Avenue, Tuesdays – Saturdays 11 a.m. to 7p.m., Sundays 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Make sure your shopping list also includes the Third Annual Holiday Night Market presented by Mercy Corps NW on Friday, December 2, 2016, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., 45 SW Ankeny.
