The sixth convening of Japan’s International Forum on the FutureCity Initiative will be held outside Asia for the first time, landing in Portland February 8-10 and reinforcing Portland’s global reputation for sustainability expertise. High-level Japanese cabinet officers, municipal leaders, and technology and real estate development firms representing different districts and projects will join local and national US experts for an exchange on methods for regional revitalization and project-specific approaches.
