First Floor Commission Room at Prosper Portland Office

Prosper Portland and the Portland Housing Bureau are launching limited duration Working Groups to help develop the first 5 – Year Action Plans for each of the three new Central City Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts.

  • Central Eastside Corridor TIF District
  • Lloyd-Holladay TIF District
  • Westside TIF District

Building off of the Central City TIF exploration community engagement process, each district has its own Working Group that includes a cross section of stakeholders with a strong connection to the district and a broad range of knowledge or experience related to work that will be done in these TIF districts.

These ad hoc Working Groups will develop the 5 – Year Action Plans that will determine near-term investment priorities based on the limited funds available in the early years of the district, eligible investments outlined in the TIF District Plan, and the current needs of the community. The Working Groups will also recommend structures for on-going governance for their district.

This will be a joint kickoff meeting for all three districts.

Working Group meetings are open to the public and will include time for public comment at the start of each meeting.  Agendas and meeting notes will be posted regularly on the project page.
