In July, the PDC board approved authorization of a contract to begin selective demolition of the PDC-owned Centennial Mills property in the River District Urban Renewal Area. In addition, PDC staff began working with a consulting team and advisory committee to better understand the costs and implications of preserving the Feed and Flour Mill buildings on the site, and reported findings to the PDC Board in November. Demolition of certain buildings began in October in the first phase of the demolition contract.
