Why: | The profile of Electric Vehicles is on the rise nationally, and with gas prices hovering at $4 per gallon, interest in EVs has never been higher.
What many people may not know is that there are more than 40 Oregon companies currently working in the EV field. Firms from Portland to Ashland are developing revolutionary EV products and technologies. The Charge Portland EV Pop-Up gives the general public an opportunity to see emerging EV technology. This display showcases an electric motorcycle from Ashland’s Brammo , an electric car from Arcimoto of Eugene and a charging station from Portland’s Shorepower Technologies among other products. |
