A pilot grant project prompted by PDC’s Halsey/Weidler Commercial District Investment Strategy (PDF) has welcomed nine businesses, ranging from a salon to a sports bar, to explore enhancements that would better engage the street with ground-floor retail in the neighborhood. The commercial district is a concentration of small local businesses located along the Halsey/Weidler couplet between 102nd and 114th avenues within the Gateway Regional Center Urban Renewal Area.
