Land Development & Transactions

In these positions, Project Managers will utilize Tax Increment Finance Plans as the basis for which to advance real estate strategies for development projects and initiatives in collaboration with community, public and private partner stakeholders. You will be involved in complex land development processes and real estate transactions to drive resources and realize capital projects that promote long-term public benefits such as place making and wealth creation utilizing equitable and inclusive strategies as a means of progress.

Small Scale Development & Community Partnerships

In these positions, Project Managers will support the planning and implementation of development, community economic development capacity-building initiatives within the Central Eastside Tax Increment Finance District and priority neighborhoods throughout the city. They will collaborate with public, private and community-based partners to realize growth that maximizes community benefit and is responsive to and inclusive of the communities we serve. These positions offer the opportunity to be a part of a community effort to promote economic prosperity for Portlanders and those that have not traditionally benefited from public resources by increasing employment and wealth creation opportunities, strengthening community capacity, and project managing small-scale development projects and community-led initiatives.

Programmatic Focus

In these positions, Project Managers will lead projects and programming intended to reduce barriers to resources, provide stabilization supports and promote growth opportunities to underrepresented businesses and target industries. This work will be carried out in close collaboration with community, public and private partner stakeholders and is dependent on developing and cultivating strong partnerships across several networks. You will be involved in complex land development processes, real estate transactions, and business support programming to drive resources and realize capital projects that promote long-term public benefits such as place making and wealth creation utilizing equitable and inclusive strategies as a means of progress.
