The grand opening of the Erickson Fritz Apartments in Old Town on July 23 celebrated the repurposing of two legendary Portland buildings, the historic Erickson Saloon and Fritz Hotel, to create 62 newly constructed apartments at affordable rents. Innovative Housing, Inc developed the property with funding assistance from the Portland Housing Bureau, among others, adding to the ever-increasing vibrancy of the Old Town neighborhood.
