Multnomah County health building breaks ground

Multnomah County celebrated the groundbreaking of its $92.7 million Gladys McCoy Health Department Headquarters on Wednesday, December 14 at Bud Clark Commons, 650 NW Irving Street. The new headquarters will be next door to the Commons building. Past PDC Board Chair Scott Andrews represented the agency, noting PDC’s investment of $36.4 million toward construction offers a boost to economic development in the Broadway Corridor, which when fully developed is expected to bring more than 4,000 jobs and 3,000 residents over the next 15+ years and afford a broad range of community benefits.
