On March 9, Prosper Portland announced a short list of three development teams which advanced in the evaluation process to select a development partner. The selected partner will serve as an advisor during the creation of a development strategy for the 32-acre Broadway Corridor project area. Once the strategy is complete, the selected partner will have exclusive rights to propose a redevelopment plan for the 14-acre United States Postal Service property in northwest Portland.
The three developer candidates, Continuum Partners, McWhinney, and Related Companies, presented their qualifications at a public forum on Wednesday, March 21, from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Leftbank Annex, which also offered community members the opportunity for feedback and interaction. A recommendation for a final developer partner is expected to go to the Prosper Portland Board in the coming weeks.
